Study plein air painting with Joe Anna Arnett for three days on the southern coast of Texas in the charming towns of Rockport and Fulton.

We will paint the harbors with rustic shrimp and oyster boats, and even the shacks where everyone buys their fresh seafood. In addition to the individual attention you will enjoy during painting days, there will be a critique of all the paintings on the final evening when James Asher will prepare a dinner of his famous gumbo for the group.

The class is limited to 10 artists. Arrival day is afternoon or evening on February 23, so that you will be prepared to begin class at 9 AM on February 24. Class will be from 9 to 4 with an hour break for lunch at nearby restaurants.

DATES - February 24-26, 2012.

COST - The three day class is $325.00 and includes critique and dinner on the final evening. This rate is for the class only and does not include hotel, transportation or meals.

Fly into Corpus Christi, Texas. Fulton is about 30 miles north of the airport. A block of rooms is reserved at The Inn at Fulton Harbor, a charming small hotel within walking distance of the harbor and lovely restaurants.
